Help us raise approximately $50,000 to get Frenchman's Creek Playground installed.
This is the first phase of a three phase Frenchman's Creek Park renovation. Funds raised right now are for the playground (Phase 1) installation only.
In March of 2020, as COVID-19 forced the shutdown of many activities of the City of Half Moon Bay, the Bay Area and the State of California, the City of Half Moon Bay was about to undertake renovations of Frenchman’s Creek Park.
Permits had been secured, contracts had been signed with Miracle Playsystems (February 2020) and equipment had been purchased.
Due to City budget cuts, all plans were put on hold due to lack of funding available.
We Need Your Help! To complete this project now, Friends of Half Moon Bay Parks and Recreation (FOHMBPAR) wants to raise funds so that as COVID-19 conditions improve, this park will be ready to serve the needs of our children again with safe outdoor playgrounds as quickly as possible.
The funds raised will be used for pouring concrete ramps, installing a rubberized surface and the installation of the new equipment currently in storage.
If funds are not raised, this park completion may be put on hold indefinitely.
Please join us today by making a gift to support the completion of this park.
